Attacks on Muslims, mosques and Islamic centers in England have reached the highest level in the last 10 years, according to recent reports. The British Muslim Council has repeatedly warned of a rise in Islamophobia in the country, with actual numbers of attacks believed to be higher than official reports suggest. Incidents such as the throwing of a pig’s head onto the roof of a mosque in Manchester and the damage caused to the Heatons Islamic Community Foundation in Stockport have raised concerns about the safety of Islamic centers and the Muslim community. Muslims of different nationalities have gathered to condemn these attacks and criticized the British police for not doing enough to ensure their safety.

The second national conference, “Qur’an and Etrat from the perspective of Islam researchers of Iran and the world,” was recently held in Tehran. The event aimed to explore the significance of the Quran and Etrat from an Islamic researcher’s perspective and featured speeches from six leading Islamic thinkers. A two-volume book of articles from the conference was also unveiled, promoting dialogue and engagement among scholars from different regions.
