KARBALA, Iraq – On Thursday, August 14, 2025, the holy city of Karbala hosted the inaugural webinar of the international conference series, “Arbaeen of Imam Hussein: Dignity, Justice, and Global Responsibility” organized by the AhlulBayt (AS) World Assembly. The event convened a diverse panel of religious scholars, academics, and cultural activists from Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Tunisia, and Malaysia to explore the universal significance of the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
Throughout the conference, speakers addressed the transformative potential of Arbaeen in fostering global awareness, encouraging ethical leadership, and strengthening initiatives for social justice.
Presentations were centered on three core themes:
- Human Dignity:Emphasizing the Qur’anic vision of honoring all of humanity.
- Social Justice:Highlighting justice as an inseparable component of human dignity.
- Global Responsibility of Elites:Calling on scholars and leaders to take an active role in resolving global injustices.
