About the Event

The conference forms the special section of the Shaykh Tusi International Research Conference, organized by the Al-Mustafa International Research Institute of Al-Mustafa International University in Qom and named after Shaykh al-Taʾifa Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Tusi (d. 460/1067). Its call for papers concerns the civilizational thought of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid ʿAli Husayni Khamenei, whom the organizers call “the Martyr Imam.” According to the organizers, the themes are examined from Qurʾanic, hadith, theological, philosophical and social perspectives, and in light of both his theoretical approach and his practical conduct. The conference’s main section reviews works published by members of Al-Mustafa International University.
