The 2026 edition focuses on the theme of “Ritual\,” exploring the diverse practices through which institutional\, communal\, and theological commitments are enacted\, maintained\, and contested. SUMMARY:The 13th International Conference on the Qur'anic Researches and Methodology of the Qur'an-based Humanities
DESCRIPTION:The Quran\, the last divine book\, offers plans for men’s happiness and perfection. It is a vast source from God that lays the foundation of theoretical and practical human beliefs. Moreover\, it contains invisible notes necessary for thinkers to reflect on and extract what they need in their journey toward perfection. Another luminous source for researchers is the guidelines of the prophet Muhammad’s progeny. They are to shed light on those hidden notes and expand our understanding of the Quran. \nDespite the outstanding efforts of researchers and commentators over centuries\, many aspects of the Quran have already remained unknown. \nOne of the crucial areas for Islamic thinkers to deal with is the methodology of extracting humanities based on the Quran. The University of Qur’anic Sciences is trying to attract attention to this area by organizing an international conference every year. \nThe 13th international conference on Qur’anic research will be held with the broad contribution of seminaries\, universities\, higher education institutions\, and related organizations. \nProfessors\, students\, and researchers in the field can send their works to the conference’s secretariat. The organizers hope this conference will take a step toward elevating and expanding the Quranic culture and teachings. \nThe selected articles of this conference will be published in the journals of the University of Qur’anic Sciences. \n \nTopics: \n\nThe method of extracting the humanities based on the Qur’an\nQur’anic foundations of the method of extracting humanities\nCharacteristics and criteria of extracting humanities based on the Qur’an\nThe difference between the method of extracting the humanities based on the Qur’an and other methods\nThe realm of related sciences in the process of extracting humanities based on the Qur’an\nRational and tradition-based requirements of the process of extracting humanities based on the Qur’an\nTypology of extraction methods of humanities\nEffects and consequences of the methodology of extracting the humanities based on the Qur’an\nObstacles to extracting humanities based on the Qur’an\nAnalysis of the causes of the deviation in humanities based on the Qur’an\n\nSolutions   \n\nHow to evolve in the humanities by knowing the methods of extracting the humanities based on the Qur’an\nThe role of Imamate and leadership in introducing the methods of extracting the humanities based on the Qur’an\nUtilizing human experiences in understanding the humanities based on the Qur’an\nThe role of scientific circles and seminaries in the methodology of extracting the humanities based on the Qur’an

SUMMARY:Religions and Peacebuilding in the Third Millennium\, Capacities and Challenges
DESCRIPTION:The sixth annual conference of the Iranian Peace Studies Scientific Association (IPSAN) \nReligions and Peacebuilding in the Third Millennium\, Capacities and Challenges \nThe peace-building processes worldwide are suffering numerous challenges\, including terrorism\, fundamentalism\, environmental problems\, ethnic\, religious\, identity\, and gender tensions\, migration\, and several other challenges\, all threatening security and peace in societies and exerting a far-reaching impact on the lives of the people worldwide. As significant sources that guide societies towards prosperity\, world religions have long played a key role in providing their followers with the pathways to achieving peace. Therefore\, the IPSAN\, as a pioneering association which has tried to contribute to the development of peace through facilitating dialogue among religious scholars and intellectual elites from different religions\, is planning to convene i. sixth annual conference on “Religions a. Peace-building in the Third Millennium: Capacities and Challenges” on 18 and 19 January 2023 in collaboration with scientific institutions around the world and with the presence of intellectuals and academia from different countries. The conference aims to develop scientific literature on the topic of religions’ approach toward lasting peace\, invite theologians and religious thinkers to reflect on peace and non-peace in today’s world\, establish acquaintance and communication between religious-studies scholars in different countries\, and find solutions for peace-making in today’s societies based on religious teachings. \n \n  \nSecretariat’s Email Address: peace.conf2023@gmail.com \nGuide for writing abstracts and full papers: ipsan.ir/conf1401
